Non-medical is a stream that opens many career paths for you. All the ways just excluding the medical line are open for you which means that career opportunities in all educational streams are available. Non-Medical as the name suggests is everything that is not medical. The options are unlimited and there is a pool of possibilities in this stream. There are so many career options for science students who study Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM). You can say that there is complexity in the non-medical stream but the same can be said about the other streams as well. It all comes down to what you find interesting and how much effort you can put in for gaining excellence in this. 1). Physics
Physics is a study of science which deals with the study of any matter and its motion and how it behaves. You will study various concepts like space, objects, forces, optics, time, motion, etc.
2). Chemistry
It is a branch of science that deals with the study of chemicals and how it reacts between them. In this, you will study various topics like chemical bonding, chemical reactions between different species, shapes of molecules, thermodynamics of reactions, etc.
3). Mathematics
Mathematics is the subject that is all about the calculation of things around you and is related to business, space, basic things you see every day. Math is around us in some form including engineering, architecture, money, etc.
4). English
English is a common language used in our daily life in offices, colleges which is the reason a certain level of understanding is always a must. At this level, the subject focuses on reading, writing, grammar, listening, and speaking skills.
5). Optional

There are many options you can go for after completing your 12th in non – medical stream
1). Engineering
Engineering is a career option in the nonmedical field that has always been very popular. All you need is a degree in B. Tech. There are various fields in which you can pursue B. Tech
But doing engineering will be better if you do it from top engineering colleges of India. There are entrance exams that you need to consider such as JEE.
2). B. Sc (Bachelor of Science)
B.Sc is the most common option selected by students. It is an undergraduate program offered by almost all colleges and universities in India. In all the institutes it is a 3-year course. It will give you both theoretical and practical knowledge about different subjects. These subject areas include many topics related to the field of science like Physics, biochemistry, chemistry, agriculture, etc. If you have a strong base in maths and science, you can go for it. The course is also helpful for students who wish to pursue multi or interdisciplinary science careers in the future. You can do it in various fields:

You can also go for Diploma Engineering in a lot of fields. After completing the diploma, you can go for another degree course if you like. 4. National Defence Academy (NDA)
National Defence Academy (NDA) trains the three cadets which are army, navy, and air force. Many entrance exams, interviews, and medical exams need to be done for the selection of candidates. The final decision is based on the merit of each candidate. UPSC organizes the entrance exams for NDA twice a year which is for nonmedical students. The age limit is 19 years. So if you wish to serve your country, you can go for non-medical.
How to make a decision?
The more opportunities you have, the more confusion there will be. Therefore, you must be clear in your mind before opting out of any course. From unlimited options, you can get the best opportunities as a non-medical student and make a successful career.
